So proud! Turismo de Portugal, the central public authority responsible for promotion, enhancement and sustainability of Tourism activities, licensed Run in Portugal, authorizing us to promote Portugal as a Running Holiday Destination by providing sightrunning tours and arranging running holidays!

Run in Portugal is now officially a “Tourism Entertainment Agent”. Today we completed our registration in the “National Register of Tourism Entertainment Agents” (Registo Nacional dos Agentes de Animação Turística).

The register is mandatory of all “Tourism Entertainment Agents” and we believe it will boost our credibility with customers and partners. In addition, and as part of the requirments imposed by Turismo de Portugal, Run in Portugal provides a Public Liability Insurance as well as a Personal Accident insurance to provide compensation in the event of unfortunate situations during your running experience in Portugal.

Turismo de Portugal is integrated within the Ministry of the Economy, Innovation and Development, Turismo de Portugal is the national tourism authority responsible for promotion, enhancement and sustainability of tourism activities, aggregating within a single entity all the institutional competencies related to stimulation of tourism activities, from the supply sector to demand.

Now that everything is official, let’s RUN in PORTUGAL!
