Starting at the riverside Cais do Sodré, once a seedy area of Lisbon, now one of the city’s coolest districts, a hub of great clubs, bars, restaurants and original shops, this run takes direction towards Belém.
It’s a very easy, flat and fresh run, always along the Tagus River. We love this run during sun-rise or sun-sets because of the breath-taking skies and panoramic view of the 25th of April bridge. We’ll run along fancy marinas, some of the more industrial-naval shipyards, the Docas de Santo Amaro Restaurants until we complete about half an hour and then turn back. If you want, we can also run a bit further and reach Belém, a historic parish, known for the Belém tower and the Discoveries Monument.
