Cascais by the sea

A coastal town just 30km west of Lisbon, Cascais, and a former fishing village with its idyllic scenery is now a much-loved summer destinations for Lisboetas (people from Lisbon) and also tourists. Today, high society lives here, but all society comes here enjoy the stunning beaches for sailing and surfing.

It’s a great running spot too with a beautiful promenade along the beaches, but also around the town itself, along small museums, cool gardens, serene streets and a shiny. For longer runs, we can head up to Praia do Guincho, 9km northwest, along the shoreline path.
